One of the first and still popular Timberwise tone that gives any room an impressive and dramatic look. The brushing brings out the grain pattern as slightly darker than the undertone.

Eben is one of Timberwise’s three original shades, and has been a standard shade from the start. It is blackish-brown and is available for ash, larch and oak. Eben shows clearly see how much the species of wood affects the appearance of the product, even though the shade treatment is the same for all species.

With Tammi Eben, the grain patterns of the wood are accentuated in an even darker tone than the base shade, and the flooring is wonderfully dark. Ash Eben brings out the large-grained pattern of this wood species very effectively, and its darkness provides a characterful background for modern or minimalist interiors, for example. Larch Eben has its roots in the interior design of the fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, where the product was manufactured in the early 2000s. It very potently accentuates the flame-like grain patterning of larch.

All types of wood can be damaged by excessively dry indoor air. 

If the relative humidity of the indoor air falls below the recommended level of 35 to 60%, cracks may appear in the floor. 

To prevent this, remember to monitor the humidity of the indoor air, especially during winter and other dry periods. Add moisture to the air if necessary, for example with a humidifier. Larch reacts most sensitively to dry indoor air, and hairline cracks or fissures may appear more quickly than with other woods. 

The optimal relative humidity level for wood, 35 to 60%, is also the optimal indoor humidity for humans.

실내 공기의 상대 습도가 권장되는 35~60% Rh(상대 습도) 아래로 떨어지면 바닥에 균열이 생길 수 있습니다. 

따라서 특히 겨울철과 같은 건조한 계절에는 실내 공기의 습도를 모니터링하고 필요한 경우 가습기 등으로 습도를 높이는 것을 잊지 마세요.
